Complete Results from Ifugao: Martin Blasts Out Lumoly in 3, Wins WBA Asia Strap By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sat, 23 Jun 2018 Lagawe, IFUGAO -- Local bantamweight "The Wonder Boy" Carl Jammes Martin (9-0, 8 KO's) added yet another belt to his growing collection of boxing titles as he outclassed and overpowered limited Indonesian boxer George Lumoly, 26, Thursday evening at Don Bosco Gym in the Filipino's hometown of Lagawe in the northern Luzon Province of Ifugao as the 19 year-old power-puncher captured the vacant WBA Asia 118 lbs Belt to the delight of his family and fans in attendance. From the sound of the first bell, Martin made good use of his far superior boxing skills, side moves and ravaging power to overwhelm the clueless George Lumoly who had no weapons to counter the classy pressure Lomachenko-style performed by the quiet spoken, promising Carl Jammes Martin whose left-hook to the body rocked the Indonesian warrior to the light-colored mat for the first time in the closing moments of the opening stanza. The Indonesian bravely stood up as the bell ending round 1 sounded, and he went on to fight competitively during the second chapter. But a furious left hook to jaw of Lumoly thrown by the Pinoy dismantled the Indonesian down to the floor for the full ten-second count delivered by international third man Silvestre "Ver" Abainza, who delivered the counting in Indonesian language. Official time of stoppage 22 seconds of round 3. The Filipino fighter and the Indonesian talk friendly after their fight as GAB chairman looks on June 21 in Lagawe Ifugao. No hard feelings.
