?THE ONE? WEIGHIN: MAYWEATHER - 150.5 LBS., ALVAREZ - 152 LBS. (COMPLETE RESULTS AND PHOTOS)

PhilBoxing.com

Last Vegas, NV:- Amid the largest crowd in boxing weigh-in history, the stars as well as the prospects took the scales preparatory to their fights tomorrow at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The crowd was so large that the organizers opted to open the doors three hours before the official televised weigh-in to give the ushers enough time to guide the hundreds of people that came for the weight-in to their seats.

Even the size of the media was unprecedented so much so that there was a need for three young ladies to assign seats to the photographers and writers from all over the world.

The only problem is even if they had the list of media people, they did not pre-assign seats so there were some problems at the start. They kept on assigning and re-assigning seats to accommodate the folks from the big media outlets. Folks like yours truly that to them did not represent a huge enough media outlet was relegated to the back seats although we came well ahead of the others inside the venue.

The weigh in was almost in time as it was televised. Floyd Mayweather did not make folks wait 40 minutes like he did during the press conference last Wednesday.

Canelo Alvarez looked ready to go even if the fight was held that very minute. He blew away those skeptics who doubted he can make 152 lbs.

?I was born ready? he said when asked if he was ready for tomorrow.

The complete results are as follows:

Floyd Mayweather (44-0-0,26KO) 150.5 lbs vs. Canelo Alvarez (42-0-1,30 KO)152 lbs.

Lucas Matthysee (34-2-0, 32 KO) 140 lbs vs. Danny Garcia (26-0-0, 16KO) 140 lbs. Garcia had to weigh in twice as he was overweight the first time he stood on the scale by half a pound.

Carlos Molina (21-5-2, 6KO) 153 lbs vs. Ishe Smith (25-5-0, 11KO) 151.5 lbs

Pablo Cano (26-3-1,20KO) 141.5 vs. Ashley Theopane (33-5-1, 10KO) 142 lbs Theopane was loudly booed by the crowd for refusing to shake the hands of Cano.

Luis Arias (6-0-0, 3KO) 162.5 vs. James Winchester ( 16-8-0, 6KO) 160 lbs

Ronald Gavril (6-0-0,5KO) 168 lbs vs. Shujaa El Amin (12-4-0,6KO) 168 lbs

Chris Pearson (11-0-0, 8KO) 156 lbs vs. Joshua Williams 9-5-0,5KO) 155lbs
