Abdullah Mason vs Albert Bell Debuts DAZN/TNT Sports Deal By Chris Carlson PhilBoxing.com Sat, 04 Jul 2026 ![]() This Saturday night Abdullah Mason takes on fellow unbeaten boxer Albert Bell in the main event. This event takes place in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Wolstein Center. Albert Bell is a replacement for Joe Cordina. On paper Mason vs. Bell is closer on the betting sites by a sizable amount. These two fighters have some history having sparred together. Neither man really has the advantage as far as game planning during training camp heading into Saturday’s scrap. This event will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and on the DAZN App. Albert Bell turned professional in the summer of 2013 and has been slowly but surely working his way up the ranks. Now with a record of 28-0, Bell gets his chance in the spotlight. Obviously, it’s not ideal to face such a talented foe like Mason without a full camp to prepare for Abdullah specifically. That said, Bell is a quick handed boxer with solid fundamentals. Albert has a steady jab, and is an efficient, accurate puncher. Footwork will be very important for Bell. Using angles consistently will be key for Albert to make himself a moving target rather than post up in front of a puncher like Mason. Bell is a quality defender, but at times has a habit of having his chin up in the air. With only 9 stoppages in 28 bouts, punch activity will be important to separate from Mason within the rounds. How will Bell respond to this major step up in competition? Abdullah Mason looks every bit the part of a rising star in the sport. Mason is a twitchy southpaw who has a sharp jab. Abdullah does a great job targeting both the head and body. At times Mason can get caught up in a fire fight. We’ve seen he can be dropped as was the case two times in the opening round against Yohan Vasquez. Of course, Mason did go on to knockout Vazquez in the second frame. Coming off a very competitive fight with Same Noakes, it will be interesting to see not only what Mason learned from the outing but also, if he can apply it on Saturday. The talent gap is wide enough to favor Abdullah Mason, with no disrespect coming from this boxing podcaster to Albert Bell. Bell will likely have to be the busier boxer or just as busy, thus opening him up to get tagged by the more powerful puncher. Look for Bell to start somewhat fast until Mason gets his timing down, which will change the tide. If a stoppage comes, it will be in the 2nd half of the fight. Mason is a strong favorite sitting around –450 up to –550 whereas Bell is the underdog anywhere from +310 to +380. Predicting if this fight will go all 12 rounds is basically a toss-up, as this boxing junkie is ever so slightly leaning towards a distance fight. Abdullah is +195 by decision and -115 by knockout. Bell is +490 by decision and a whopping +1330 by stoppage. The best bet is +195 Mason by decision; however, a hedge is available via stoppage for Mason. My Official Prediction is Abdullah Mason by decision.
