All Set for the All-Undefeated Clash Between Christopher Guerrero and Delante 'Tiger' Johnson Tomorrow Night in Cleveland PhilBoxing.com Sat, 04 Jul 2026  CLEVELAND, July 3, 2026 — Tomorrow night, July 4, Eye of the Tiger's rising Montreal contender Christopher "Machine Gun" Guerrero (16-0, 9 KOs) will face his toughest test yet when he takes on American Olympian and former amateur world champion Delante "Tiger" Johnson (17-0, 8 KOs) at the CSU Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. At today's official weigh-in, WBC Continental Americas champiom, Guerrero (146.6 lb), and WBO NABO champion, Johnson (147 lb), both made the welterweight limit of 147 lb. The weigh in followed Thursday's press conference, where both undefeated contenders shared their thoughts ahead of the clash. "All I have to do is block out the noice because, even if we're in Cleveland, Delante Johnson's hometown, it'll just be him and me inside the ring on Saturday night. After that, as great opponent as he is, there's only one possible outcome for me on Saturday night: victory," said Montreal contender and former two-time national amateur champion Christopher Guerrero. "Christopher Guerrero is undefeated in 16 fights for a reason. But honestly, I don't see anyone at 147 pounds with the talent I have, and therefore what it takes to beat me," said American Olympian Delante Johnson. Saturday night's #TigerGuerrero showdown, promoted by Top Rank, will open a tripleheader airing in the United States on TNT and worldwide on DAZN. In the main event, reigning WBO lightweight world champion Abdullah Mason (20-0, 17 KOs) will make the first defense of his title against unbeaten American contender Albert Bell (28-0, 9 KOs). In the co-feature, newly crowned WBC featherweight world champion Bruce Carrington (17-0, 10 KOs) will also make the first defense of his title against undefeated Mexican challenger Rene Palacios (19-0-1, 10 KOs).
