Dragon Fire Open Training Session By Brett Bonetti PhilBoxing.com Tue, 06 Nov 2012 ![]() Fighters preparing for the Dragon Fire card at Marina Bay Sands this Friday night put on an open training session in front the media today at the ?Fightworks? Gym at East Coast Parkway in Singapore today. Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo (44-0, 27 KO?s) who will face Chris ?The Dragon? John (47-0-2, 22 KO?s) for the WBA World Featherweight Title put on a light training session. Choijiljavyn "Choi" Tseveenp?re (36-5, 24 KO?s) was very friendly with the media while Shadow Boxing and working the pads with Spencer Fearon before warming down by doing some legs kicks on the bag. ?Choi? ran into his opponent for Friday and IBO World Featherweight Champion Daud ?Cino? Yordan (29-2, 23 KO?s) who arrived at Fightworks with ?The Dragon? Chris John. Both ?Choi? and Yordan were friendly and respectful and posed for a photo with each other before ?Choi? left the Gym. The Indonesian World Champions, John & Yordan both put on light training sessions for the media. Also appearing for the media today was Singapore?s own Mohammad Nor Rizan who is keen on revenge this Friday night in his rematch with China?s Wang Xin Hua. Nor Rizan lost a close Majority decision to Hua at Marina Bay Sands in May this year. Also from Singapore and making his professional debut this Friday, Syafiq "The Slasher" Samad worked hard in his training session. ?The Slasher? takes on England?s James Goyder who will also be in his first professional bout. And Muhamad Meeraj from Malaysia trained well and went through a pad session with Dragon Fire?s Caine ?Sugar? Melbourne. Meeraj will face Thailand?s Komgrit Nanakorn.
