She tallied perfect 7 points.

She also landed at runner-up place in the 2018 National Age-Group Chess Championships (Visayas Leg) held at the City Mall, Kalibo, Aklan last January 27-28, 2018.

"Ang Pilipino naman hindi lang pang-basketball, we are also very underrated with regards to mind games like chess," said Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. president Ronald Mascariñas.

"With tournaments like this, we want to give more exposure to our woodpushers by facing quality opponents," the amiable executive added.

Around 400 chess players from all over Metro Manila and other parts of the country are expected to participate this year's National Chess Federation of the Philippines sanctioned tournament and is organized by the Rotary Club of Nuvali and Muntinlupa City.

“We are grateful that Bounty Agro Ventures Incorporated, the largest poultry integrator in the Philippines behind the brands Chooks to Go, Uling Roasters, and Reyal through BAVI president Ronald Mascarinas had expressed its utmost support to this annual chess tournament which is awaited by chess players not only in Metro Manila but also in the entire Philippines,” said Rotary Club of Nuvali president Noel Divinagracia.

Rotary Club of Nuvali president Noel Divinagracia and Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. president Ronald Mascariñas will lead the opening ceremonial moves along with Muntinlupa City mayor Jaime Fresnedi, vice mayor Celso Dioko and representative Ruffy Biazon.

“This is one of the strongest rapid chess tournament in the country and we hope to continue it annually to help provide a venue for local chess players to train and hone their skills and, most importantly, compete with the top players in the country,” added Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA) Public Relations Officer (PRO) Dr. Alfred "Fred" Paez.

The 2nd Chooks to Go National Rapid Chess Championships is a 7-round Swiss System Four Division Tournament with time control of twenty minutes (20) plus 5 seconds delay for each player for the entire game.
