DeMarcus ?Chop Chop? Corley Joins Liqua Light Team

PhilBoxing.com

2001-2003 WBO Junior Welterweight World Champion is Making Moves to Give Himself Better Options for his Boxing Career
WASHINGTON D.C. (February 21, 2013) ? Former World Boxing Champion DeMarcus ?Chop Chop? Corley has literally seen the light, as in the new product that the people are going crazy for Liqua Light. ?Liqua Light is a great product.? Said Corley. ?I know that soon we are going to see this product selling out at all sporting events, music events, and used as promotional products for businesses around the world. It really is fantastic.?

The product known as a Liqua Light is a lighted drink koozie designed for proper use with clear bottles or cups that when turned on makes your drink shine bright, and the public loves it from just everyday people right up to a recent vote of confidence from several members of the Michigan State Senate given directly on the Senate floor. ?We?re very excited to have DeMarcus on board with us at Liqua Light.? Said David Beaudette, who is not only the owner of the Liqua Light product line but the inventor as well, ?I know that with the connections DeMarcus has made over his career in the professional sports industry, his charisma, and the professional way in which he carries himself he will be very successful with our company and his career going forward.?

Corley certainly see?s the advantages of this opportunity as well, and wants to make sure that his fellow professional boxers understand what he sees, ?As a professional boxer we all desire to make it to the top of our sport, but there are so many outside factors at stake. One major factor that I?ve had to deal with for my entire career is that I have a large family, and I?m the one responsible for putting the bread on the table. I?ve been in the position where if I don?t get to fight, there isn?t money to support my family. I realize now that I?ve been doing this the hard way.? Said Corley, who did spend two years as the WBO World Junior Welterweight Champion. ?Even though I?ve had good success over the years, I could have made this much easier on myself as well as my career. To have an additional income stream other than boxing will give me the opportunity to take fights that are the best opportunity to move my career to where I want it to go, and not just fight for the money. Now, I?m not suggesting that all fighters go out and find a full-time job that will pay them well, but also take them out of the gym at times. I?m suggesting finding an opportunity to have money coming in outside of their boxing careers that also supports the fact that they are professional fighters. That will hopefully allow them the leeway to maximize their opportunities in their boxing careers by making the proper decisions to advance their careers. As for me this opportunity will also give me the chance to begin transitioning to another career when the time is right. I?m very excited!?
