WBC CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY ON VALENTINE'S DAY

At its 50th anniversary, the WBC is proud of having changed the world of boxing.
The World Boxing Council was founded 50 years ago, on February 14th, 1963. Fifty years later the WBC is very proud to have changed the world of boxing 180 degrees regarding safety, protection to the boxers, championship recognition, unity in boxing in the world, as well as good rules and order.
My congratulations to all the members of the Board of Governors, the Executive Council, members of the committees and all the family of the WBC in the world.
I would also add my homage and gratitude to all those of the past who founded the organization and worked so hard to have it as strong, respected and careful as it is today.
May the WBC live forever.
