7th Fight: Arce vs Rojas Ended in a No Contest After Two Rounds

MGM Grand Garden Arena -- A one punch right uppercut by the 37-year-old Randall Bailey (43-7-0, 37KO) knocked out the erstwhile undefeated Mike Jones (26-1-0, 19KO) in the 11th to put a sudden end to an otherwise lackluster contest. Jones was leading comfortably on the scorecards up until the 10th round when Bailey scored his first knockdown in the 10th round.
MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas -- Three successive foul punches thrown by Jesus Rojas of Puerto at veteran slugger Jorge Arce of Mexico in the second round -- a low blow, a punch on the back and a punch to the ear - ended a fight fast shaping up to be entertaining slugfest. Arce, down in pain, complained of a booming sound in his head as well as losing his balance. Referee Kenny Bayless declared the fight a no contest after Arce was checked by the doctor.
In the opening seconds of the first round, Arce sent Rojas to the canvas but Rojas came back strong to bring the fight to Arce.
