WEIGHTS FROM PASIG CITY: VILORIA - 112 LBS, ROMERO 112 LBS

PASIG CITY -- WBO world flyweight champion Brian Viloria of Waipahu, Hawaii and challenger Omar Nino Romero of Guadalajara, Mexico came in at the 112 lbs each on their first try, the flyweight limit, during the official weighin held at the Discovery Suites Hotel this morning. Viloria will defend his title against Romero tomorrow (Sunday morning in Manila / Saturday night in North America) at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. This is the third meeting between Viloria (30-3-0, 17KO) and Romero (31-4-2, 13KO) where Romero won the first fight and the second fight was declared a no contest after Romero failed the post fight drug test.
In a 10-round non-title bout, Rodel Mayol of the Philippines stepped the scales at 114 lbs while Julio Cesar Miranda of Veracruz, Mexico also registered 114.
For the WBO Oriental bantamweight championship, Dayer Gabutan came in at 118 lbs while his opponent Dado Cabintoy weighed in at 119 lbs on the first try, 1 lb over the limit. Cabintoy was given 2 hrs to shed the exess poundage.
