Glenn Donaire defends WBC Latino Flyweight Title July 13
By Anthony 'Duljoman' Andales PhilBoxing.com Thu, 26 Apr 2012

Bible Belt, SC ? Glenn ?The Filipino Bomber? Donaire will defend his WBC Latino Flyweight Title against undefeated Daniel ?El Alacran? Lozano from Bowling Green, Forida.
Nonito Donaire Sr. relayed the news that the fight will be on July 13, 2012, in an undisclosed venue. They already signed the contract.
As for Daniel ?The Scorpion? Lozano, he won all his 11 fights and 8 of them didn?t go the distance. All his fights were in Florida except the 5th fight where it was held in Atlanta, GA. He is 22 years old with a decent amateur background.
Lozano competed in over 100 bouts as an amateur which included a Silver Medal in the U.S. National Championships, a Silver Medal in the National Golden Gloves tournament, a Gold Medal in the Florida Golden Gloves, and a win over Roberto Ceron in the 2008 United States Olympic Trials. ? Boxrec.com
This would be Glenn?s first defense of WBC Latino Flyweight Title, his last bout in Mexico was a new belt for the vacant WBC Latino SUPER-Flyweight Title which is at 115 lbs.
Lozano seemed raw for Glenn, but the Dad-Trainer told me that being complacent for this fight will be the last thing Team Glenn Donaire would do, they want to keep their rankings and they want to climb up more on rankings for world title opportunity.
