GLENN DONAIRE TKO's OPPONENT IN COMEBACK BOUT; CAPTURES INTERIM WBC LATINO FLYWEIGHT TITLE

Kissimmee, FL -- Glenn Donaire did a masterful comeback by knocking down his opponent twice in round 2 and then masterfully boxed Puerto Rico's Alex Sanchez from round 3 onwards until the bulky Puerto Rican quit on his stool after round 9.
Glenn Donaire didn't look like rusty at all. He cut the ring very well and the body punches were telling.
With the win, Glenn became the new Interim WBC Flyweight Latino Champion. As this story was filed, Donaire was in his dressing room for mandatory drug testing.
In earlier bouts of the night, Cuban sensation Luis Franco outclassed Leopoldo "Feroz" Gonzalez. Gonzalez was bloodied by Franco's non stop combination and the ring physician stopped the fight in round 2.
In the curtain raiser, Curtis Harper of Jacksonville FL scored a first round TKO over Nate James.
Amir Imam of Davie, FL won by a 4th round TKO against fellow Floridian Joseph Fernandez.
Fadol Louis won via split decision against a guy from Miami Angel Martinez.
