The PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD public preview is set on August 22, 2010 Sunday - 12nn at the SM Entertainment Plaza in SM City Cebu.
This pre-event presentation will be attended by our main event fighters headed by the charismatic Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista, the methodical Milan Melindo and the Executioner Jimrex Jaca.
The triumvirate will be doing their light work-out in public to promote their fight card PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD and they will be entertaining questions from the media and fans and will be signing their autographs as well.
Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista will be going up against Mexican Alejandro Barrera who happens to be a cousin of the great Marco Antonio Barrera. Melindo in his case will be fighting Jin-Man Jeon a tough Korean Champion while Jimrex Jaca will have his hands full with son of Mexican legend Pepino Cuevas, Pepino ?Cuevas, Jr.
Also to see action is ex-Minimumweight World Champion Florante Condes going up against PABA Champ Sofyan Effendi of Indonesia.
The ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports mega-boxing presentation PHILIPPINES VS THE WORLD will be on August 28, 2010 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino and is also supported by MAYA Mexican Restaurant, Sports Exchange Bar and Grill and SM City Cebu. (PR)
