NIETES UPDATE!

WBO minimumweight kingpin Donnie Nietes continues to train at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles in preparation for his title defense against Manuel Vargas on September 12 in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, Mexico.
Today, Nietes resumed his sparring at the Wild Card Gym against a certain "David" who also regularly works out at the sweatshop of renowned trainer Freddie Roach.
Nietes' workout was supervised by Filipino trainer Edmund Villamor.
According to Nietes, he and his team should be in Mexico one week before the fight with Vargas.
