Lebron James ties the most game played in NBA history

Basketball superstar LeBron James tied Robert Parish for the most games played in the NBA on Thursday after the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Miami Heat, reaching 1,611 games, a record Parish held for nearly three decades.
The 41-year-old James was questionable until the last minute, but ultimately started in the game against Miami, his former team with whom he won two championships in 2012 and 2013.
Parish, a Boston Celtics legend, played 1,611 games over 21 seasons (1976-1997).
Since February 2023, James has been the NBA's all-time leading scorer, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and also holds other records, such as most seasons played (23) and All-Star appearances (22).
On March 5th, he made history again by breaking the record for most field goal attempts, a mark he also took from Abdul-Jabbar.
