IBF Pan Pacific champion Vince Paras set to face unbeaten OPBF champion Aoi Yokoyama in Kyrgyzstan

IBF Pan Pacific Super Flyweight Champion Vince Paras will travel to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to face unbeaten OPBF Super Flyweight Champion Aoi Yokoyama on April 19 in a super flyweight bout. Paras aims to reaffirm his place in the world title picture, while Yokoyama looks to extend his undefeated run on a big international stage.
From Paras’s perspective, he spoke about his preparation and mindset. “I’ve studied Yokoyama; he is a good boxer, but I will do my best to win. I need to win to get back to the world title picture,” Paras said, underscoring his focus and determination as the fight approaches.
Sanman Boxing CEO Jim Claude Manangquil commented, “Yokoyama is a very good boxer, but we are confident with Vince Paras, whose pressure-fighting style and experience give him a solid path to victory.”
Paras currently holds the IBF Pan Pacific super flyweight title, with a professional record of 25 wins and 4 losses, including 19 knockouts. Yokoyama comes into the bout with a perfect record of 4 wins and 0 losses, including 1 knockout, and holds the OPBF super flyweight title.
