PAGARA TAKES ON BUTAR-BUTAR IN BOHOL JULY 25

ALA Promotions in association with Summit Natural Drinking Water hold its monthly boxing tour with another great event at the Dao Public Terminal, Tagbilaran City, Bohol on July 25, 2009, during the peak of Sandugo Festival.
Heading the card is the Philippine Lightweight Champion Jason Pagara of Cagayan de Oro against the formidable Simson Butar-Butar of Indonesia.
The 17 year old phenom Pagara currently holds the WBO Asia Pacific title and the Philippines Lightweight belt and holds an enviable fight record of 19 fights, 18 wins (10ko’s), 1 loss and who has recently KO’d his Indonesia opponent last May 16 at the Cebu Coliseum. He will still have to prove though by fighting a tough Indonesian Simson Butar-Butar who ko’d ALA boxer Czar Amonsot twice.
Another two interesting co-main events featuring Larry “Bon Jovi” Canillas against Roger Galicia of Tiger City Gym of Manila and hometown boy, Rocky Amonsot will test the mettle of Samuel Galinato of Elaba Stable of Jagna, Bohol.
A total of 40 exciting rounds of boxing will be the stellar presentation of Summit Natural Drinking Water in cooperation with the City of Tagbilaran Government through the assistance of the beloved Mayor Dan Neri Lim. It will be Free and Open to the public.
