That’s because for the 25-year-old "Lucky Boy" Alicaba (9-8, 7 KOs), friendship, and team spirit are just as important as boxing. Alicaba lost a hard-fought ten-round unanimous decision against unbeaten Namchai Dilokpraphuek (5-0, 2 KOs) for the ABF (Asian Boxing Federation) Bantamweight Belt at the Rangsit Boxing Stadium on Wednesday, August 27, live on Thailand’s True4U Channel. Although Alicaba dominated the former Muay Thai World champion in a few rounds, his visit to the canvas in the 5th chapter tipped the scorecards in favor of the fearsome Thai warrior promoted by Phetchyindee Boxing. That’s alright, because after the battle, Alicaba's coach and teammates from Highland Boxing Gym treated “Lucky Boy” to a delicious Thai buffet dinner! In high spirits, the tall "Lucky Boy" born in Digos enjoyed yummy food and lively conversation for hours. His coach, former boxer Jayvee Alipio, couldn't be prouder of his protégé.
