Tagbilaran City, Bohol –The Phoenix Suns torched the San Antonio Spurs 130-118 on Sunday night (Monday morning, Philippine time) at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona. French phenom Victor Wembanyama was limited to a season low 9 points on a dismal 4-for-14 field goal shooting, as the Spurs absorbed its first loss in six outings.

Devin Booker finished with 28 points, 2 rebounds, 13 assists, and 1 steal, while six others scored in double figures for the Suns, who shot 57.6% (19-for-33) from deep. Grayson Allen and Ryan Dunn each added 17 for Phoenix.

The Spurs, on the other hand, shot an atrocious 24.4% (10-for-41) from the rainbow territory. The Suns also assisted on 34 field goals, while the Spurs only connected on 21 assisted field goals.

Reigning Rookie-of-the-Year Stephon Castle led the Spurs with 26 markers, 7 boards, 5 dimes, 2 steals, and 1 block. Keldon Johnson added 19 off-the-bench. Second overall pick Dylan Harper scored 12, before leaving with a calf injury.

It was the first back-to-back victory this season for the Suns, who were without Filipino-American guard Jalen Green due to hamstring injury and forward Dillon Brooks due to core muscle strain.
