Norj Guro, Wenie Cline Verano, and Carleans "Chay" Rivas, three formidable warriors, embody the meaning of strength, skill, and determination. Under the watchful eye of renowned Cebuano coach Brix Flores, these strong and talented athletes sweat and toil in his gym, fueling their muscles and driving their quest for victory. A glance at the Philboxing photo reveals the trio's unwavering dedication to competing in championship boxing. ![]() 👉 NORJ GURO On the left in the main pic is Atomweight Norj Guro (13-9-1, 4 KOs) of Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, a fighter who has claimed various championship belts and consistently impresses fans with her warrior spirit. Norj's latest battle was a WBC championship match last October in Hermosillo, Mexico, where she left a fantastic impression on Mexican fans despite her opponent, Camila Zamorano, winning by points. ![]() 👉 WENIE CLINE “AMAZONA”VERANO Standing in the center of the photo is hard-hitting Flyweight Wenie Cline "Amazona" Verano (13-0, 9 KOs) from Cagayan de Oro, the City of Golden Friendship. She is the unbeaten and captivating phenom with an insatiable hunger for exciting boxing action. Wenie's last fight was a thrilling round 5 TKO win in Bangkok, Thailand. ![]() 👉 CARLEANS “CHAY” RIVAS On the right is Minimumweight Carleans "Chay" Rivas (9-8-4, 1 KO) from Angono, Rizal Province, a stunning and fearless warrior fresh from her Japan stint, exuding confidence and poise. Coach Brix Flores, a Cebu hero and medalist in the 1986 Asia Games in South Korea, guides these talented athletes with his wealth of experience and expertise. Our lady warriors also rely on the care and assistance of Highland Boxing Promotions and boxing manager Gary Connolly. As our three fight girls prepare for their next challenges, speculation surrounds a possible appearance in the upcoming Brico Santig show on August 30 in Bangkok.
