Triple Championship Showdown in Bacolod on May 24

AN EXCITING triple championship match will be held on May 24 at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City.
Former Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation [OPBF] flyweight champion Jay-R “The Dreamer” Raquinel, Asian Boxing Federation [ABF] super bantamweight champion Herlan “Negros Hitman” Gomez of Bacolod and ABF light flyweight champion John Michael “Striker” Zulueta, who are all from Negros Occidental will be the three co-main protagonists.
The 28-year-old Raquinel will fight Pradish Anbuchezhian of India while Gomez, 25, will face Indonesian Oky Akbar, who once fight for the WBC Asian featherweight title.
The 29-year-old Zulueta, on the other hand, will exchange punches with former IBF Pan Pacific flyweight title-holder Komgrich Nantapech of Thailand.
The fights are dubbed as the “Showdown in Bacolod Matira Matibay”.
It is also promoted by three promoters Juan Ramon Guanzon of JR Guanzon Boxing Promotion, Dan Nietes of Nietes Boxing Promotions and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions.
