The scene was madness as hundreds of fans waited for hours in lines wrapped around the building as Oscar De La Hoya made the first of three stops in Los Angeles on his multi-city book signing tour in support of the recent release of his biography, AMERICAN SON, on June 16, 2008. De La Hoya spent over 3 hours signing more than 600 books, taking pictures and talking with his fans at Borders Book Store in Pico Rivera, California located just a few miles from his boyhood neighborhood of East Los Angeles. De La Hoya will make an appearance at Barnes & Noble at The Grove at Farmer?s Market in Los Angeles, California tonight at 7:30 p.m. and at Barnes & Noble in Huntington Beach, California at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.
