In one of the main attractions, world-ranked WBC #12 light flyweight Marco John Rementizo (14-4, 11 KO’s) of Cagayan de Oro City puts his world ranking on the line when he wages war against Thai fearsome combatant Jinnawat Rienpit. Rementizo came in at 50.9 kilos, while Jinnawat made 50.73, and the Pinoy and the Thai are ready to rumble. On stage, the Mindanao boxer appeared shorter than his Thai foe. But we all know that In boxing it is skills, speed, heart and power what defines the winner. Let’s find out if the Thai fighter will know how to use his height and reach advantage over the brave, glory-hungry, fast Pinoy. In the main event, Briton Troy Coleman (11-2, 4 KO’s) of Burntwood, Staffordshire, England, fights tough warrior Shiva Thakran (17-4-1, 9 KO’s) of Gurgaon, Delhi, India, a fighter trained by Indian star coach Brijesh Kumar of CSM Promotions India. The skilled bearded Englishman, wearing black shorts during today’s weigh-in ceremony, scaled-in at 72.2 kilos, with the strong Indian warrior doing 71.9. Their 10-rounder WBC Asia and ABF regional title fight is in the 160-pound weight-class. Both 28-year-old fighters have already scored exciting wins in Thailand, feeling confident of claiming another scintillating triumph. Fantastic, but who will the big winner be? AND MORE BOXING: 🥊 In hot women’s action, Sheau Ru Yang (4-0, 3 KO’s) of Hong Kong, a boxer, as well as a black belt in judo, battles Big heart Filipina Actub Kim (8-11-1, 5 KO’s) of Iligan, Lanao del Norte, in a ten-chapter regional WBC Asia title war in the super flyweight division. The bearded Dervis tipped the scale at 69.1 with the Indian soldier Rohila weighing-in at 69.2. Their eight-frame battle can not be missed as one might get his undefeated record shattered. Who will that one be? And, in another clash of unbeaten warriors, “The Markhor” Shahir Afridi (7-0-1, 4 KO’s) of Karachi, Pakistan, takes on undefeated Rongroojlek Singmanasak Gym (5-0-1) of Thailand.
