MANON LOSES IN WBO ORIENTAL TITLE FIGHT IN JAKARTA

The Philippines Victor Manon has lost by a unanimous twelve round decision in a WBO Oriental super featherweight title fight against 21 year old Indonesian Roy Mukhlis at the Trans 7 studio in Jakarta.
With the win Mukhlis improved to 19-2-2 with 15 knockouts while Manon dropped to 3-8-2, 2 KO?s according to boxrec.com although its records are not always accurate.
The title fight was arranged after Mukhlis successfully defended his Pan Asia Boxing Association title with a second round TKO over Pathompol Srisopha on the same card where Manon scored a ninth round TKO over Indonesia?s Aleksander Bajawa last April 26.
Mukhlis won the title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Aree Phosuwangym on April 27, 2007.
