Torres to defend ABF welterweight title

ADOR Torres of Sorsogon will defend his Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) welterweight title against Sakda Langkabam of Thailand on June 29 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.
It is the 2nd time that Torres (8-4-1, 5KOs) will be defending his title.
In his 1st title-fight, Torres scored a 3rd round technical knockout against Phiraphong Phuitthoeng of Thailand last March 27, 2023 in Bangkok.
The 28-year-old Torres won the ABF welterweight title by a 4th round TKO over Meechaiva Kaiwiset of Thailand last December 28, 2022 in Bangkok.
Langkabam (4-1-0, 4KOs), on the other hand, suffered his first loss by TKO to Farrukh Arslonov in the 5th round last May 25, 2023 in Bangkok.
The promoters are Supanat Chanram, Baris Erdogan of Tunal Academy and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Team.
