Following his June 28 boxing appearance, he is expected to defend his BKB Heavyweight Championship later this summer, with an August date and venue to be announced. For now, however, his full attention remains on Barnett and continuing his ascent up the heavyweight rankings. Rather than taking extended time off after his most recent knockout victory, Trujillo and his team made the decision to remain active, believing consistent activity is the key to reaching championship opportunities.
