Beltran fights new opponent for vacant MinProBA super bantamweight title By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Wed, 21 Jun 2023  ANGELO “Axe Boy” Beltran of Valencia City will instead fight Reycar “The Machine” Auxilio of Cebu for the vacant MinProBA super bantamweight title. It will still be held at the Bacaca Gym in Bajada, Davao City. The 22-year-old Beltran has 7 wins, 1 loss with 5 knockouts while Auxillo has 4 wins with 2 loses and 3 knockouts. Beltran’s original opponent veteran Ramel Antaran of Sarangani Province will instead face unbeaten Nelbert Gaballo (4-0-0, 3KOs) of Gensan. “It was disapproved by the screening committee of the GAB Makati medical division because of strict protocols due to recent boxer Egano case,” said Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Davao OIC Arnulfo Sazon, The 25-year-old Auxillo recently retired Jayar Aliasot in the 2nd round last February 25, 2023 at the Calape Cultural Center in Calape. Meanwhile, the other title-fight is between Alvin Camigue (6-1-0, 1KO) of General Santos City against veteran Mateo “Waray Warrior” Handig (15-23-0, 9KOs) of Northern Samar for the MinProBA bantamweight title. The other bouts: Alvin Vergara vs. Jhesriel Vijano (6 rds.-130 lbs.); Crisalito Beltran vs. Rodrigo Virtudazo (4 rds.-135 lbs); Arnel Lofranco vs. Junrey Lawa (4 rds.-105 lbs.); Jake Acude vs. Rey Bautista (4 rds.-122 lbs.); Donnato Jordan vs. Jomari Pagulong (4 rds.-115 lbs.); Ralph Valdez vs. Kevin Labansza (4 rds.-110 lbs.); Nico Ramos vs. Joshia Padual (4 rds.-126 lbs.); Reyniel Alisoso vs. Arnold Montales (4 rds.-110 lbs.). There will also be amateur bouts to spice up the early rounds,” said Firmo Aligato of Alcazar Promotions. This boxing event, dubbed as “Pasiklaban sa Barangay 19-B”, is presented by Alcazar and Amoy Promotions. It is brought by Barangay Captain Loreto Nicolas and SK Chairperson Jesila Sumatra.
