Manny Pacquiao vs Anthony Mundine Papau New Guinea boxing exhibition bout in the works

Marryanne Millie, the organiser of a boxing in Papua New Guinea, plans to invite 8-division world champion Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao next year to do an exhibition match with former three-time WBA world champion Anthony Mundine of Australia, promoter Peter Maniatis has informed PhilBoxing.com.
Mundine and Australian Hall of Fame Promoter Peter Maniatis are special guests during a professional boxing event in Papau New Guinea. Mundine is one of most famous sports person in Australia being a champion rugby footballer as well as boxer.
Peter Maniatis represents Mundine and has been in talks with Manny Pacquiao advisor Sean Gibbons to lock the bout in July next year in Papau New Guinea.
The event will have the support of Papau New Guinea prime minister James Marape who is a big sports and boxing fan.
"We would like to thank the Papau New Guinea government for showing support to the planned Pacquiao-Mundine big event which can be compared to the landmark Thrilla in Manila Ali vs Frazier bout," Maniatis said.
