Samal, 3 others in semifinals of ALDU Cup

UNDEFEATED Samal City and three others made it to the semifinals of the Barangay Elite Division in the ALDU Cup of the Davao del Norte Basketball League on December 10 at Barangay Ramihan in Panabo City.
Samal topped the elimination round with four straight wins to face fourth placer Panabo City with a 1-3 win-loss record.
Game time is set at 7 p.m. according to DDNBL Commissioner Arman Sañano.
Second placer Tagum City (3-1) and third qualifier Carmen (1-3) will be at 5:30 p.m.
Samal and Tagum must be beaten twice to beat by their opponent in order to advance to the finals.
“Samal and Tagum only need at least one win to be in the finals,” said Sañano.
Meanwhile, unbeaten Panabo seeks its 5th straight win as it collides with Philippine National Police Samal in the Inter-Agency Division at 2:30 p.m.
PNP Samal is behind Panabo with a 3-0 win-loss record.
Davao del Norte PNP, which is 2-2 battles with Panabo PNP (1-2) at 4 p.m.
