NEW YORK – October 20, 2022 – SHOWTIME SPORTS® has released the opening tease from ALL ACCESS: PAUL VS. SILVA, premiering this Friday, October 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME in advance of the October 29 Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and SHOWTIME PPV® event headlined by international superstar Jake “The Problem Child” Paul taking on Anderson “The Spider” Silva live from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz., just outside Phoenix.
The opening clip sets the stage for the series’ award-winning storytelling as the episode explores why both fighters, who already possess both money and fame, are on the quest for something more. As the show’s narrator Barry Pepper says in the closing moments of the clip, “Legendary status must be earned the old-fashioned way. It cannot be bought, nor crafted. It cannot be willed by celebrity. No. It must be taken. Punch, by punch, by punch”
ALL ACCESS: PAUL VS. SILVA will bring fans behind the scenes as the serial risk-taker Paul trains for the biggest challenge of his career in the UFC legend Silva and Silva prepares to write a new chapter in his storied combat sports career.
The episode premieres tomorrow, Friday at 9 p.m. ET/PT immediately preceding the SHOBOX: The New Generation® telecast headlined by super middleweight prospects Isaiah Steen and Sena Agbeko.
