ESNETH DOMINGO WINS BY TKO IN JAPAN

ZIP and Sanman rising flyweight protégé Esneth Domingo (17-2) staged a big win in Japan as he stopped undefeated fighter Jukiya Limura (now 3-1) at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo Thursday night.
The first two knockdowns were courtesy of a one-two combination with Domingo connecting his right straight to the head. The third knockdown came from an overhead right to the head which sent the Japanese backpedaling with his hands touching the canvas. In the timely sixth round, a counter left hook wobbled Limura thus forcing the referee to stop the fight to avoid further harm to the hometown fighter.
Team Zip Sanman rejoiced with the win. Filipino fighters recently suffered a lot of losses in Japan but fighters like Domingo have interrupted the curse and brought home the victory. This is a step forward for Domingo and will pave the way for bigger fights in the flyweight division.
