TEAM SALUDAR NOW IN TOKYO FOR NIETES-IOKA UNDERCARD

Former world title contender Froilan Saludar has arrived in Japan with super featherweight prospect Presco Carcosia. Both Sanman fighters will fight in the undercard of the Donnie Nietes versus Kazuto Ioka event on July 13. Saludar will fight former WBC world champion Daigo Higa while Carcosia faces Musashi Mori.
Both fighters have a tough challenge fighting on the road but this will not hinder then from putting an impressive show. Carcosia has been in a two fight winning streak since losing to Jai Alexander while Saludar has just gone back to the drawing board after his recent loss to Andrew Moloney.
Saludar has been working hard in the gym and expects the best challenge in Higa. “The guy is scary looking at his KO ratio. But I also have power. And experience is on my side. I will do everything to win”, Saludar stated.
For Carcosia, this is the fight that will give him better opportunities. “I need this win to come back to contender status. Mori has a good record and winning against him will bring me up in the ranks”, Carcosia said.
