SANMAN BUBBLE IX COMPLETE RESULTS
PhilBoxing.com Thu, 28 Apr 2022

The ninth episode of Sanman’s Bubble Series lived up to expectations by delivering exciting match-ups. In the main event Former WBO Asia Pacific Youth Light Flyweight champion and world title contender Vince Paras (16-2) engaged WBO Asia Pacific Minimumweight Champion and world title contender Robert Paradero (18-2) in a toe to toe slug and tactical fight. Paradero started aggressively but Paras countered beautifully while maintaining patience and superb defense. In the later part it was Paras who was the aggressor and Paradero came close to being stopped but his granite chin and solid body refused to go down. Paradero had his turn landing powershots on Paras but it was the latter who was controlling the ring. In the end the judges ruled it a draw.
In the undercard, former world champion Jhack Tepora easily disposed Richard Betos in two rounds. Tepora showed everyone that he still packs the power needed to destroy opponents.
Former world title contender Jayson Mama is back in winning form as he dominated Ramel Antaran winning via unanimous decision. Judges scored the bout 80-72, 80-72 and 79-72 all in favor of Mama.
In the other featured bouts, Kenny Demecillo stopped Macrea Gadionco in the second round. Ian Sampan knocked out Rey Ramons in the third round. Alex Santisima halted Carlito Antaran in the second standa . Jastine Darap finished Nicong Calampa in the opening bell. While in the curtain raiser, Jerson Arigola hands Gabriel Tapales his first defeat via majority decision.
Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil was happy about the result of the event. “Paras versus Paradero was a classic and brutal fight. The rest of the fights were just as entertaining. I hope the fans all had a great time,” Manangquil stated.
