Domingo, Cataraja, and Jerusalem pick up big wins on Sanman/ZIP Bubble VIII.
PhilBoxing.com Sun, 27 Feb 2022
It was another night of good matchmaking as Sanman/ZIP Boxing’s Bubble Series held its 8th episode. The main event was a fight closer than we thought as Esneth Domingo lasted the round and won via unanimous decision against Jessie Espinas. Espinas was in superb condition but Domingo proved himself the superior fighter.
It was rising prospect KJ Cataraja who brought fire to the gym as he engaged in a war against Romshane Sarguilla. Cataraja was relentless from the opening bell and ended the night in the third stanza knocking out Sarguilla.
Melvin Jerusalem showed that he on his way up his career ladder as he schooled Ramel Antaran and dominated his way to a unanimous decision. Meanwhile super lightweight ward Jhunrick Carcedo displayed brute and power as he disposed veteran Ryan Sermona in the third round.
Undefeated lightweight Criztian Pitt Laurente the short route stopping Casido the very second round.
Other results are as follows:
Michael Casama TKO5 Jaime Barcelona (8 Rds Featherweight)
Kenny Demecillo TKO6 Eric Pulgo (6 Rds Super Bantamweight)
Alex Santisima UD4 Nathaniel Juan (4 Rds Bantamweight)
Joshua Belicina TKO3 Jojo Lastimosa (4 Rds Super Flyweight)
It was a sweep for the Sanman and ZIP fighters. For Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, these events are not just venues for activity and record improvement but for fighters to learn and hone their crafts. They are carefully matched against formidable opponents who will give them the test they need as they advance their career toward their championship goals.
