"Kokoy Jr." powers AdForce in the Arab festival Wednesday Team Battle

MANILA---Ibrahim Mamantuc's skillful maneuvers powered the AdForce (Abudhabi Filipino Organization Chess Enthusiasts) Chess Master to the championship in the Arab Festival Wednesday Team Battle virtually held at Lichess Platform.

Mamantuc, Kokoy Jr. on Lichess, tallied with 198 points to spearheaded his team to fifth Championships.

Federico Agaton chipped in 180 points followed by Engr. Joseph Galindo, a former University of the East chess player with 130 points who came a few hours left in the tournament.

"Rising star Ibrahim "Kokoy Jr." Mamantuc again showed up with 198 points to lead AdForce Chess Master Team held at Arab World International Marathon Team Battle and seal the fifth Championships of the AdForce Chess Master Team," said Engr. Galindo, an online Arena Grandmaster, licensed Fide Instructor and Fide National Arbiter.

"Team Beats Talent When Talent is Not a Team," he added.
Also delivering for the AdForce Chess Master were Anthony Pelayo (118 pts.), CJ Alvarez (113 pts.), Allan Mabatid (83 pts.), Erwin Sales (82 pts.), Allan Mak (83 pts.), former AdForce President Gil Javier (76 pts.), España Chessclub Manila top honcho engr. Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia (55 pts.), AIM Florindo Sampang (55 pts.), Chess Freak (45 pts.), Alex Amatonding (41 pts.), AdForce president Gary Flores (35 pts.), Ronnel Lennor (34 pts.), Ted Montoya( 28 pts.), Jerson Bitoon (25 pts.), AFM FRS (13 pts.), Arnold Cabiasa (8 pts.), Agodrix (6 pts.), Jefrey Taypin (4 pts.) and LG ( 2 pts.).

Adforce Chess Master had a total score of1363 points to bag the Championship Crown.The second was the host Arab World Team scored 1205 points, third is the Philippine Blitz Arena with 993 points, Fourth was the Lions of GJ5 & Kutch –of India with 778 points, fifth was the Mizo Rising Star with 746 points, sixth of which were India's Indians Chess Army with 725 points, Seventh was the Lichess Swiss of Europe with 685 points, eight of which were Indonesia's OPG nett Club with 571 points, Indonesia's Belajar Catur Profesional with 522 points, ten of which was the KBPL Indonesia with 434 points. The Arab World is made up of 200 teams and a battle of 20 leaders.-Marlon Bernardino-
