Toyogon TKOs Tejones in 2nd round

LIGHTWEIGHT Al “Rock” Toyogon of Gingoog City sent down Joe Tejones of Valencia City three times in the 2nd round for a technical knockout victory last February 12 at Bantay, Ilocos Sur.
It was Toyogon’s 7th knockout and 12 wins against six losses and one draw.
Meanwhile, lightweight Jules Victoriano of Iloilo stopped Dave Barlas of General Santos City in the 3rd round in the 8-rounder.
Super flyweight Ranelio Quizo of Las Pinas also pummeled to submission Paranaque’s Philip Luis Cuerdo in the 7th round while light flyweight Reymark Alicaba of Digos beat Zamboanga’s Melvin Manangquil via a majority decision.
The boxing event was promoted by Cucuy Elorde of UKC Pro Boxing Edition.
