To be able to give them some of the jewels in which that I gathered from the sport. A lot of information and a lot of knowledge. It’s only right to pass it on.” Gary Russell Jr., along with current undefeated professionals Gary Antonio and Gary Antuanne, are all trained by the patriarch of the Russell family, Gary Russell Sr., who has battled serious health issues during his son’s latest training camp. “This has honestly been my toughest training camp,” Russell Jr. says. “My father has been in and out of the hospital. To be able to witness how everything is unfolding right in front of him.” The three-minute video feature will air on tonight’s SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® telecast that also features a 12-round rematch between super lightweight contenders Subriel Matías and Petros Ananyan in the co-main event and hard-hitting featherweight Tugstsogt Nyambayar squaring off against Sakaria Lukas in the 10-round telecast opener.
