TAPALES READY FOR IBF ELIMINATOR VERSUS JAPANESE FOE

Former bantamweight world champion Marlon “The Nightmare” Tapales (W34 KO17 L3) is in top form for his IBF Superfeatherweight Eliminator fight against Hiroaki Teshigawara (W22 KO15 L2) in the undercard of the Donaire-Gaballo event on December 11 in Carson, California. Tapales has been training in LA under the tutelage of coaches Ernel Fontanilla and Ting Lariosa.
Tapales has the experience advantage being in several world title fights but Teshigawara is a no-pushover opponent. “I am very much motivated to win this fight and get world title fight in the 122lbs division. I have been working hard in the gym and will do everything to win this sensationally. I want to be a multi-division world champion. I want to thank Sanman boxing, Sean Gibbons and all my team. I am so grateful for the chance of fighting on the same card as my fellow Filipinos Gaballo and Donaire”, Tapales said.
