Heliton dos Santos vs. Luis “Betaso” Nogueira SFT MMA Interim Featherweight Title Fight Headlines SFT 29 Sept. 2nd in Sao Paulo, Brazil PhilBoxing.com Fri, 27 Aug 2021  SAO PAULO, Brazil (August 26 2021) – An SFT MMA Interim featherweight title fight between Heliton dos Santos and Luis “Betaspo” Nogueira will headline SFT 29 on September 2nd in Sao Paulo, Brazil. SFT 29 will be streamed exclusively on FITE in the United States and worldwide on pay per view via the FITE app and website (www.FITE.tv), starting at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT, for only $14.99. “We have another terrific card on tap September 2nd with our usual assortment of combat sports matches including seven competitive mixed-martial-arts fights and pair of entertaining Xtreme bouts, plus one Jiu-Jitsu and one karate matches,” SFT president David Hudson said. “The main event will crown the SFT Interim featherweight champion and put the winner in position to challenge reigning SFT Featherweight champion Marcos Babuino.” Santos (19-7-1, SFT: 2-0-0) has won four in a row, including the last two in SFT competition, and Nogueira (22-9-2) will be making his SFT debut. “Betaspo” is a veteran Bellator fighter who also competed in M-1 Global events. The co-featured event matches light heavyweights Acacio “Pequeno” dos Santos (13-3-0, SFT: 3-0-0) against Marcos Brigagao (13-2-0, SFT: 0-0-0). Santos is red-hot, riding an 8-fight win streak, and winning 10 of his last 12 fights. Brigagao will be making his SFT debut. Other MMA fights on SFT 29 include flyweight Andre “Del Loco” Azevedo (11-9-0, SFT: 4-1-0) vs. Danilo Adreani (9-3-0, SFT: 0-0-0), female flyweight Fernanda de Souza (6-4-0, SFT: 0-0-0) vs. Karoline “Mao De Pedra” Martins (7-4-0, SFT: 0-0-0), undefeated bantamweight prospect Patrizio ““Tiradentes” de Souza (6-0-0, SFT: 0-0-0) vs. Isaias “Carcaca” Simoes (7-3-0, SFT: 1-2-0) female strawweight Alana Sousa (3-2-0, SFT: 0-1-0) vs. Jeane Roas (2-0-0, SFT: 0-0-0), and Gabriel “Pulga” de Jesus and William Nogueira in a battle of pro-debuting flyweights. SFT Xtreme matches allow striking, kicking and knees, fighters wear 4-ounce gloves, and clinching and fighting on the mat is prohibited. The two scheduled SFT Xtreme fights are female flyweight Aline Sattelmayer vs. Edna Nunes, and bantamweight Ramon Costa vs. Ricardo Sattlemayer. The Sattlemayers are married. Bianca Sattlemayer, who fought in a SFT 22: Brazil vs. Argentina Xtreme fight, is Ricardo’s wife as well. Ronald Pereira will face bantamweight Marlison Santos in a Jiu-Jitsu match; Erick Duarte takes on Wesley Lutz in a Karate match. Card subject to change.
