Valtierra-Ruiz make Weight for Telemundo Clash

Mexico City, Mexico; Boxeo Telemundo continues its summer series with a civil war from the Mexican Capital this Friday August 20th as undefeated WBC Latino lightweight champion Jair "Kaiser" Valtierra(15-0 8 KO's) from Leon Guanajuato, Mexico squares off against challenger Alberto "Alacran" Ruiz(10-2 7 KO's) over 10 rounds. The bout will air live from the famed Auditorio BB with all safety measures in place.
The co main event of the night is a battle of crosstown flyweights as hard hitting Ivan Armando "Tsunami" Garcia(6-1-1 5 KO's) faces Miguel Angel Rojas(3-2-1 2 KO's) over 8 rounds.
The special attraction of the night in the Jr lightweight division, Jonathan "Explosivo" Ramirez(6-2 4 KO's) challenges Edwing Antonio Campos(3-5) over 6 rounds. Ramirez trains with former World champion Jorge Luis Bueno.
