PhilBoxing.com

Yordenis Ugas.

MIAMI, FL (August 5, 2021) – Local boxing legend, WBA Super-Welterweight Champion Yordenis Ugas (26-4, 12 KOs), and drvn, are teaming up for his upcoming fight against Fabian Maidana (18-1, 13 KOs), taking place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, August 21, 2021, on the Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KOs) vs. Errol Spence (27-0, 21 KOs) FOX PPV showdown. In collaboration with the WBA Super-Welterweight Champion, drvn is providing transportation services for Ugas during his training and fight week.

This partnership includes providing Ugas and his team with services in Las Vegas and Miami.

“We were thrilled when we were presented the opportunity to work with Ugas,” said drvn’s CEO, Mario Medina. “We’re huge fans of boxing and as a minority owned business in Miami, we believe in El Milagro and what he stands for. Most of our own team are Latin American immigrants and First-Generation Americans, so we’re very proud to be able to contribute to what we expect will be another win for him.”

This is the first boxing match drvn has been involved with, but it won’t be the last,” says Managing Director, Ted Moffly. “Working with Ugas and his team is a different experience for us, and it is not something we undertook without consideration. It is an honor (and really cool) to be able to support him. We demand excellence of ourselves, and Ugas’ relentless pursuit of excellence is inspirational to our team.”

“This is the beginning of an incredible partnership for us,” says Social Media Manager, Melissa Rey. “The team here at drvn and Ugas’s team together have come up with some great ideas and we see our partnership as being a symbol of the Latin community. It’s a ‘one-for-all, and all-for-one’ mentality, and we feel honored to be providing our services to a Latin American icon and world champion like Ugas.”

“drvn is a fantastic company with a lot of great people,” stated Ugas. “It’s very important to be associated with an elegant brand like drvn, who go all out on perfection and sophistication. Their vehicles are top notch and the service they provide is second to none.”

drvn is a ground transportation logistics company - committed to sustainability and ground-breaking technology. The company was founded by Mario Medina, Ted Moffly, and Eddie Olivera. Their head offices are located in Los Angeles and Miami.
