ORANGE, CA (June 28, 2021) – Thompson Boxing Promotions is happy to announce that they have officially signed undefeated super welterweight prospect Richard "Cool Brez Brewart Jr. (10-0, 4 KOs), a fighter they have developed since his pro debut.
Brewart Jr., an orthodox fighter who stands 5’10, has showed great improvement in his most recent fights, having beaten his last three opponents who had a combined record of (20-1-3, 11 KOs).
“Signing with Thompson Boxing is something I’ve been working toward since I turned professional,” said Brewart Jr., who resides in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. “I made my pro debut with them and the support they’ve showed me by putting me on all their cards proves they are the right promotional company for me. I consider Ken Thompson, Alex Camponovo, and their entire staff like family. I’m ready to take my career to the next level and I’m looking forward to putting on some great entertaining fights. I’m glad I’m now part of the Thompson Boxing family.”
Ken Thompson, who has been in the boxing business for over 20-years and counting, feels Brewart Jr. has all the elements of a great prize fighter, and is thrilled to have signed a kid he’s groomed from the beginning.
“Richard is a great human being, in addition to being a tremendous fighter,” stated promoter Ken Thompson. “We’ve watched him develop since his pro debut and now he is officially part of the Thompson Boxing family. We have big plans for him and we want to see him reach the pinnacle of the boxing world.”
“We have bee been Richard’s corner since the very beginning and we are certain that his future will be as bright and as exciting as his fights,” Alex Camponvo, Thompson Boxing’s general manager, said.
