JAMES BACON FACES ALEXIS ROCHA IN UNDERCARD OF MUNGUIA FIGHT

Filipino welterweight contender James Bacon (26-4) has been fighting on US soil for a while now. However, this is his yet greatest challenge as he faces heavy favorite Alexis Rocha (16-1) in the undercard of the Munguia vs. Szeremeta event at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas on June 19.
Bacon knows he has to be impressive in order to win. For him, it will be risky to leave the decision to the judges’ hands.
“I have prepared not to let this fight go the distance. I will do my best to impress. This is so far the biggest fight in my US campaign. I can’t spoil this moment. I have trained so hard in the gym and I hope it will pay off with a sensational win. I dedicate this fight to my countrymen and to my team,” Bacon said.
