Texas middleweight Apostle Arias won pro debut last Friday

GALVESTON, Texas (December 23, 2020) -- Texas middleweight Apostle Arias won his pro debut last Friday night in Galveston, Texas, on the "Battle of Rio Grande" PPV card. It was incorrectly reported in a post-fight press release that his fight with Lucas "God First" McDonald. ended in a technical draw due to stoppage resulting from an unintentional clash of heads.
Arias, fighting out of Porter, TX, won a technical decision (unanimous) when the fight was stopped in round four, because Arias was unable to continue due to his serious cut. Arias is 1-0 and McDonald dropped to 0-6.
