JAYSON MAMA DEPARTS FOR S. AFRICA FOR WORLD TITLE BOUT

Sanman boxer Jayson Mama (W15 KO8 L0) has packed and departs today with his head trainer Ronerex Dalut for South Africa on December 14 for the biggest fight of his career. Mama has been the given the chance to challenge South African world champion Moruti Mthalane (W39 KO26 L2) for the IBF world Flyweight Title. The fight will take place in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on December 20, 2020.
Mthalane is a seasoned veteran champion having and conquered the likes of Johnriel Casimero, Zolani Tete and Akira Yaegashi and Julio Cesar Miranda, all world champions. Experience will indeed be on his side but the youth and hunger will pretty much be the advantage of the Filipino challenger.
“I can’t wait to step in the ring with a great champion like Mthalane. It will be an honor to fight for a world title and represent my country. This is it, my greatest moment. I trained so hard for this and will not let this opportunity slip away. Please pray for my success. I have my part in the gym. I know God will do the rest.” Jayson Mama stated.
