THE FURY OF FURY ON KLITSCHKO

Former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has verbally attacked Wladimir Klitschko, who retired a few months ago. Fury captured the WBA, WBO, IBO, IBF heavyweight titles with an upset twelve round decision over Klitschko in Germany in November 2015. The planned rematch never happened because Fury vacated his world titles last year to focus on his mental health issues. He is angry at Klitschko who never appreciated him for his upset win, but always praises current WBA, IBF, IBO champion Anthony Joshua.

Fury believes he beat Klitschko easily, while Joshua was dropped in the sixth round before rallying in the later rounds to win by TKO. "Wladimir I don?t get why you?re so bitter about your loss to the Gypsy King, always banging on about your loss to AJ and how great he is. At the end of the day, you lost to AJ by TKO in what was a 50/50 fight right until the end. In our fight, you couldn?t land any punches and I made you miss and really played games in there. But yet you say AJ is better," Fury stated on social media.

"I know you won?t admit the truth to the world, but in your mind you know the truth, so does Vitali! I wouldn?t expect anything more from you guys. But deep down you know what happened in there. And, by the way, I?m going to deal with your little brother AJ in the same fashion as I dealt with you, play with the bitch. P.S. I?ll be haunting your nightmares forever Dr. Klitschko and you will always know that you could have never beat the fat gypsy," Fury added furiously.

Lou DiBella hits Oscar De La Hoya's comments made by the Golden Boy President regarding Deontay Wilder. De La Hoya questioned the direction of Wilder's career since the WBC champion left his outfit and joined Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions stable. DiBella, who is now the manager of the American champ disagrees with De La Hoya's pronouncements. DiBella fired back at De La Hoya questioning his influence on Wilder's journey to the top of the heavyweight division.

"What a joke you are, De La Hoya. Nearly all of 33 fights in total obscurity. What exactly did you do?" asked DiBella. He blamed De La Hoya of "tripping" on Wilder's success. Golden Boy's Robert Diaz, defended the former world title holder. "What did we do? Well we only scouted him, signed him and taken him from zero to champion in five years," said Diaz. "Besides, why do you even get involved you are not even his promoter so you should sit back and enjoy the ride and make a fee."

Former world champion Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) says he is now fully focused on his career after reconciling with his estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom after a marital break-up earlier this year. Amir posted in social media the couple's getting back together through a photo of the loving pair captioned "With my 4 month pregnant wife, after sorting out all the issues. Closing the year with a happy ending." Khan has inactive since May 2016 loss to then WBC middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

A planned fight with Manny Pacquiao in April was cancelled after the investors failed to come up with the promised funds to schedule the match in UAE. Pacquiao went on to fight and lost to Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia. There were plans for Khan to fight before the end of the year, but his return appears to be moved to a date in the first quarter of 2018. Khan's former promoter Frank Warren offered Khan a return bout in the UK against fellow Briton Bradley Skeete.

IBF No. 3, WBC No. 6, WBO No. 12 light flyweight contender Randy Petalcorin (28-2-1, 21 KOs) scored a devastating knockout over Indonesian champion Oscar Raknafa (13-16,5 KOs) on Friday at the Malvern Town Hall, Melbourne, Australia. Petalcorin dropped Raknafa with a powerful body shot in round one. The Indonesian was lying on the canvas for several minutes and was later brought to the Alfred hospital for observation. "Randy Peralcorin hits like a heavyweight,? said promoter Peter Maniatis.
