RCJ FIGHTERS PREVAIL IN ?FIST OF FURY 2?

PhilBoxing.com

ILIGAN City ? Three key fighters of the RCJ Boxing Stable had all emerged champions in just one night here last Saturday during the ?Fist of Fury 2? boxing card at the Robinson?s Place.

Jerald ?The Predator? Paclar (11W-4L-2D, 6 KOs) stopped Mike Kinaadman of Rey Marban Stable by a technical knockout in 2:40 of the 5th round to capture the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) light flyweight title.

The 19-year old Paclar improved his record to 11 wins with 6 knockouts against four losses and two draws while Kinaadman dropped to 6W-4L-2D.

?Paclar patiently waited for the right timing,? said head coach Arnold Palafox.

Samuel ?Silent Assassin? Salva, on the other hand, remained undefeated by scoring a shocking first round knockout in 2:57 against former teammate Marco John Rementizo of Wowie Lalanto Stable-Bukidnon to pocket the vacant Mindanao Professional Boxing Association (MinProBA) mnimumweight title.

Salva continued his winning ways by scoring his 11th straight victory and 7th knockout while Rementizo only suffered his first setback after three victories.

?Na-develop na talaga ni Salva ang kanyang power at lamang din kasi siya sa experience kay Rementizo,? said boxing manager Raffy Jimenez.

Kim ?Bonecrusher? Actub (6W-8L-1D, 5KOs) was the first one to win a title by pummeling to submission arch rival Joan Ambalong (6W-7L-1, 3 KOs) of Zamboanga in 1:05 of the final 6th round to crown herself as the new Philippine female super bantamweight title-holder.

?Pinaghandaan talaga ni Kim ang pang limang laban nila ni Joan,? said trainer Ronnie Rosales.

Actub also beat Ambalong via a 2nd round TKO in their 4th and previous encounter last Dec. 20 in Dipolog City. She also won their first fight ? a 4-rounder in 2014 by a unanimous decision.

Their first rematch ended up in a technical draw on that same year. But Ambalong stopped Actub in the 3rd round in their third bout held in 2015 in Iligan.

?We are very happy for our victories and we would like to thank our promoters, managers, coaches and supporters,? said Actub, also the reigning Women?s International Boxing Association (WIBA) World super bantamweight title-holder.

Another exciting boxer from RCJ Stable ? Jovylito ?J-Flash? Aligarbes ? landed a solid body punch to knockout Jhofel Camocamo in 1:57 of the first round.

It was Aligarbes? 14th win and 8th by knockout against four losses.

The other results:

Dexter Alimento also of Iligan scored a technical knockout win by stopping Dipolog?s Rogen Flores during the rest period of the 7th round.

Taiwanese Ming Hung Lee also remained unbeaten via a TKO over Zamboanga?s Michael Estrada in 1:57 of the 1st round for his 4th straight win.

Minimumweight Jake Ampara of Cagayan de Oro won by a unanimous decision on Zamboanga?s Roelan Daniega in their four-rounder match.

The boxing card was promoted by lady boxing promoter Clarissa Pacana-Jimenez of RCJ Promotions and presented by Mayor Celso Regencia, Vice Mayor Jemar Vera Cruz and the members of the 16th City Council of lligan.
