Weights from Guindulman, Bohol: Demecillo 119, Tinampay 122 for Friday's Rumble

Success in weigh-ins ahead of "Sinukliay Ug Kumo Sa Guindulman," a non-stop 7-fight card tomorrow Friday (Sep 8) at Guindulman Municipal Gym, an cool event designed to thrill Bohol boxing fans.

In one of the exciting clashes, Cebuano super bantamweight Carlo Demecillo (6-4, 1 KO) of the Big Yellow Boxing Stable weighed-in at 119 lbs., as his opponent Jason Tinampay of Dagohoy, Bohol, made 122 lbs for their 8-stanzas rough encounter. Demecillo scaled-in three pounds bellow the contracted 122 lbs, giving away that poundage, while Tinampay tipped-in right on target.

Meanwhile, in a battle between fellow Bukidnon warriors, 24-year-old southpaw Delfin de Asis (6-3, 4 KO's) of Valencia City, Bukidnon, scaled-in at 112 lbs, as his more-tested, well-trained foe Marjun Pantilgan of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, made 111 lbs. Pantilgan was one pound below the contracted 112 lbs.

FIVE MORE THRILLING CLASHES

Heavy-handed Zamboangue?o 135-pounder Raymond Yanong (7-2-1, 6 KO's) and unbeaten local warrior Antonio "Dodz" Sismundo, 23, are set to lock horns in the tough 8-rounder main event, a power struggle likely to be resolved by way of KO.

In addition, undefeated Rholdan Sasan (3-0, 1 KO) of Carmen, Bohol, is in a ring encounter with Coronadal southpaw warrior Frankie Batuon (2-4, 0 KOs). Their clash is 6-rounder war is in the minimumweight division.

In another battle, debutant Johnriel Castino of Guindulman steps into the war-zone for the very first time against Coronadal's John Paul Ibones (0-2). This 4-rounder is a super flyweight contest.

Moreover, in an 8-round battle between seasoned fighters, veteran Robert Awitin (7-26-2, 7 KO's) of Anda, Bohol, collides against 33-fight journeyman "Merciless" Rowel Garcia (7-23-3, 1 KO) of Coronadal, South Cotabato.


On the scales is Dino Rafaeles, the Pinoy-Australian fighter is set to fight for a second time in Guindulman this Friday Sep 8.

In the international bout of the card, undefeated Pinoy-Australian Flyweight Dino Rafaeles (3-0, 1 KO) of Melbourne, though born in Pampanga, takes on Rolly Dorong of Mandaue City.

Friday's card in the historic Municipality of Guindulman in Eastern Bohol, which is billed as "Sinukliay Ug Kumo Sa Guindulman," is a production of Jimdomar Boxing Promotions of Edgar L. Ricafort with Ms. Josephine Y. Tupos as matchmaker

"Sinukliay Ug Kumo Sa Guindulman" is possible thanks to the cooperation of Guindulman Mayor Hon. Albino Balo of the PDP-Laban with the main sponsorship of The Guardian International Inc., Guindulman Chapter. Fights begin at 7 PM.
