Next Big Yellow Boxing Card: Demecillo, Pantilgan in Tough Battles Sep 8 in Guindulman, Bohol

PhilBoxing.com

Fresh from their success last Saturday at Sabang Gym in Danao, the Cebu-based Big Yellow Boxing Promotions outfit has informed that its next fight card will take center stage on Friday September 8th in the Seaside Paradise Town of Guindulman in Bohol Province, 90 Km East of Tagbilaran via Bohol Circumferential Road.

In the thrilling main event features featherweight Carlo Demecillo (left in the above pic), taking on tough local warrior Jason Tinampay of Dagohoy, Bohol.

The 22-year-old Demencillo - a former PBF bantamweight titlist, now fighting as a 126-pounder - is back in the Philippines after a couple of setbacks in Tokyo, Japan, where he tried his luck.

Things did not work out that good for Demecillo in the Land of the Rising Sun, so he is now back in the Philippine Motherland, willing to hunt down Bohol warrior Jason Tinampay, also 22, whom Demecillo sees as his next prey.

Arguably, the Bohol warrior Jason Tinampay possesses by far more punching power in his blows than Demecillo. Some fans say yes to that.

So let's find out who hunts who.

CO-MAIN EVENT: PANTILGAN VS DE ASIS

The co-main event in Guindulman will be a Flyweight war between two boxers from Bukidnon Province: 23-year-old Marjun Pantilgan (right in the above pic) from Bukidnon's Capital City Malaybalay, clashing against southpaw Delfin de Asis, 24, of Valencia City, Bukidnon.

Lalawigan sa Bukidnon is a landlocked province in the Northern Mindanao region.

De Asis (5-3, 4 KO's) comes proud from a 3-fight winning streak.

In contrast, the Big Yellow Boxing fighter Marjun Pantilgan (14-5, 11 KO's) is trying to shake off a tough round 9 lost last June in Laguna.

Will Pantilgan shake off that June lost by brutalizing fellow Bukidnon native Delfin de Asis, a boxer who bears the same last name as the beloved Catholic Saint San Francisco de Asis?

One thing is worth noting: Pantilgan has more than double the fighting experience of de Asis. This fact is suppose to help Marjun Pantilgan. But we all know that in boxing nothing is written in stone. Yes, in boxing, anything can happen.

Therefore, fans wonder who will emerge victorious in the all-Bukidnon 112-pound battle?

The battle will be win by the more experienced Marjun Pantilgan... or the victorious will be Delfin de Asis, the boxer with the last name of a Saint?

There is only one way to find out.

This Big Yellow Boxing Promotions card on Friday September 8 in the Town of Guindulman, Bohol, is an effort of promoter Seth Ito in association with active matchmaker/coach Christopher "Pingping" Tepora.
