Unbeaten Bizhamov faces Mironchikov in IBA Pro 20 main event in Naberezhnye Chelny

Lausanne, Switzerland — Naberezhnye Chelny will host the landmark IBA Pro 20 event on 14 August. The main event of the boxing night at the Ice Sports Palace will feature an exciting clash between the undefeated Dzhambulat Bizhamov (83-11, 5 KOs) and the unpredictable Vladimir Mironchikov (8-0, 6 KOs). Both are set to captivate fans with elite-level skill and the relentless ambition of champions.
Dzhambulat Bizhamov returns to the ring following his triumphant victory at the IBA Men's World Boxing Championships in Dubai. Last December, the Russian boxer defeated Uzbekistan's Javokhir Ummataliev to claim the gold medal in the 80 kg weight category.
Still unbeaten in his career, Bizhamov is renowned for his precise footwork and disciplined defensive style. Controlling distance with confidence and dictating the pace of the fight, he combines pinpoint accuracy with exceptional tactical awareness, making him one of the toughest opponents in his division.
Vladimir Mironchikov enters the highly anticipated IBA Pro 20 main event following a victory over Ulugbek Sobirov in St. Petersburg at the IBA Men's World Boxing Championships in Belgrade where he earned a bronze medal.
The 2022 Mediterranean Games champion is known for his impressive physical strength and effective inside fighting. His powerful combinations, relentless pressure, and high work rate promise to create a compelling stylistic contrast with Bizhamov's calculated and technical approach.
